- 1 cup sushi rice
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 pound cooked salmon, flaked
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons Sriracha
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 sheet nori, cut into strips
- 1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Rinse the sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
- Combine the rice and water in a rice cooker or pot and cook according to the rice package instructions.
- In a bowl, mix the flaked salmon, mayonnaise, Sriracha, soy sauce, and green onions.
- Once the rice is cooked, spread it evenly in a baking dish.
- Layer the salmon mixture on top of the rice.
- Sprinkle the nori strips and panko breadcrumbs on top.
- Bake for about 20 minutes, or until golden and bubbly.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra spice, add more Sriracha to the salmon mixture.
- Garnish with extra green onions before serving.
