- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 cucumber, grated
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon dill, chopped
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sear the meatballs until browned on all sides.
- Transfer the meatballs to a baking dish and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until cooked through.
- For the tzatziki, combine Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, lemon juice, garlic, and dill in a bowl. Mix well and season to taste.
- Serve the meatballs warm with the tzatziki on the side.
