Fish Puttanesca

A delicious twist on the classic Puttanesca, featuring fish, turkey bacon, and chicken ham, perfect for a weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

  • 2 fillets fish of choice
  • 4 strips turkey bacon
  • 100 grams chicken ham
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon capers
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook turkey bacon until crispy, then remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add olive oil and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add canned tomatoes, capers, and red pepper flakes to the skillet. Stir and let simmer for about 10 minutes.
  4. Season the fish with salt and pepper, then place it in the skillet. Cook until the fish is flaky.
  5. Toast chicken ham briefly and add it on top before serving.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and crumbled turkey bacon.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, increase the amount of red pepper flakes.
  • Feel free to use any white fish.
