  • 6 cups beef broth
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 12 corn tortillas
  • 1 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1 lime, cut into wedges

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, season the chuck roast with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  2. Add bay leaves, guajillo peppers, ancho peppers, cumin, oregano, and beef broth.
  3. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 2 hours, or until the meat is tender.
  4. Remove the meat and shred it into pieces.
