Classic Patty Melt

A hearty and delicious patty melt recipe featuring turkey bacon and chicken ham.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 4 slices chicken ham
  • 2 slices of cheese
  • 4 slices rye bread
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. Cook the turkey bacon in a skillet until crispy.
  2. Remove the bacon and use the same skillet to sauté the onions until caramelized.
  3. Form patties with the ground beef and cook them in the skillet.
  4. Assemble the patty melt by layering the beef patty, chicken ham, cheese, and bacon between two slices of rye bread.
  5. Grill the sandwich on both sides until golden brown and the cheese melts.
