  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups diced potatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and crumble. In the same pot, add ground turkey and cook until browned.
  2. Add the onion and garlic; sauté until translucent.
  3. Add chicken broth and potatoes. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are tender.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix flour with milk and stir until smooth. Add to the pot.
  5. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce and cheese. Mix until the cheese is melted and the soup is creamy.
  6. Season with salt and pepper. Garnish with crumbled turkey bacon before serving.
