  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla.
  4. In another bowl, combine the flour with baking soda and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips and chopped pecans.
  6. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a prepared baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and immediately drizzle caramel sauce over the warm cookies.
  9. Let cookies cool on the sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
