- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla.
- In another bowl, combine the flour with baking soda and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and chopped pecans.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and immediately drizzle caramel sauce over the warm cookies.
