  • 1 package whole wheat lasagna noodles
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups cooked turkey bacon, chopped
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta, half of the mozzarella, Parmesan, turkey bacon, basil, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. In a baking dish, spread a layer of marinara sauce, then a layer of noodles, followed by a layer of the ricotta mixture. Repeat layers, finishing with noodles and sauce on top.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese on top.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  7. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
