Sticky Mongolian Meatballs and Broccoli

A delicious and easy recipe for Sticky Mongolian Meatballs paired with broccoli, perfect for a weeknight dinner.

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger powder
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup hoisin sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, green onions, egg, soy sauce, garlic powder, and ginger powder. Mix well and form meatballs.
  3. Place meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes.
  4. While the meatballs are baking, heat sesame oil in a pan over medium heat. Add broccoli florets and stir-fry for about 5 minutes until tender.
  5. Remove meatballs from the oven and coat them with hoisin sauce.
  6. Add meatballs to the pan with broccoli and stir to combine.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • For a spicier flavor, add some chili flakes to the sauce.
  • Substitute ground beef with ground turkey for a lighter option.
