Pepper Steak Stir Fry

  • 1 pound beef sirloin, sliced
  • 2 cups bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine beef with soy sauce, cornstarch, and black pepper. Mix well and marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat.
  3. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry until browned. Remove from skillet.
  4. In the same skillet, add garlic, onion, and bell peppers. Stir-fry until vegetables are tender.
  5. Return the beef to the skillet and mix well with the vegetables. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  6. Serve hot over rice or noodles.
