- 1 cup moong dal
- 2 cups spinach, chopped
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 green chilies, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon salt (to taste)
- 2 tablespoons oil (for cooking)
- Soak the moong dal for 4-6 hours, then drain.
- Blend the soaked dal with spinach, onion, green chilies, cumin seeds, turmeric, and salt into a smooth batter.
- Heat a frying pan and add a little oil.
- Pour a ladleful of batter onto the pan and spread it in a circular motion.
- Cook until the edges lift and turn golden brown, then flip to cook the other side.
- Repeat with the remaining batter.
