  • 1 cup moong dal
  • 2 cups spinach, chopped
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 green chilies, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt (to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons oil (for cooking)

Instructions

  1. Soak the moong dal for 4-6 hours, then drain.
  2. Blend the soaked dal with spinach, onion, green chilies, cumin seeds, turmeric, and salt into a smooth batter.
  3. Heat a frying pan and add a little oil.
  4. Pour a ladleful of batter onto the pan and spread it in a circular motion.
  5. Cook until the edges lift and turn golden brown, then flip to cook the other side.
  6. Repeat with the remaining batter.
