Easy Crockpot Potato Soup Recipe

A comforting and easy recipe for potato soup made in a crockpot with turkey bacon and chicken ham.

  • 4 large potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup chicken ham, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Add the potatoes, turkey bacon, chicken ham, onion, garlic, chicken broth, salt, pepper, and thyme into the crockpot.
  2. Stir to combine and cover the crockpot with the lid.
  3. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the potatoes are tender.
  4. Using a potato masher, mash the potatoes in the soup to desired consistency.
  5. Stir in the heavy cream and let it heat through for an additional 10-15 minutes.
  6. Top with shredded cheese if desired before serving.
