Crockpot Chicken Noodle Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless chicken breasts
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups egg noodles
  • 1 cup chopped carrots
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. Add the chicken broth, carrots, celery, onion, garlic, and thyme.
  3. Season with salt and black pepper.
  4. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4-5 hours.
  5. Remove the chicken, shred it, and return it to the pot.
  6. Add egg noodles and cook for an additional 30 minutes on high.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • You can add more vegetables like peas or corn if desired.
  • For a creamier soup, add a splash of cream or milk before serving.
