Crock Pot Potato Soup

A delicious and easy recipe for comforting potato soup, enhanced with turkey bacon for a flavorful twist.

  • 5 cups diced potatoes
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a slow cooker, combine the diced potatoes, chopped onion, and chicken broth.
  2. Add the garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir to combine.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or until the potatoes are tender.
  4. Once cooked, use a potato masher to mash some of the potatoes for a thicker consistency.
  5. Stir in the turkey bacon and heavy cream. Cook for an additional 30 minutes.
  6. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • For a creamier soup, blend a portion of the soup and then stir it back in.
  • Add shredded cheese on top for extra flavor.
