Crock Pot Creamy Chicken Parmesan Soup

This creamy chicken parmesan soup made in a crock pot is the perfect comfort food for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken breasts
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup chopped spinach
  • 1 cup pasta, uncooked

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crock pot.
  2. Add the chicken broth, heavy cream, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  4. Remove the chicken, shred it, and return to the pot.
  5. Stir in the spinach and uncooked pasta, and cook for an additional 30 minutes until the pasta is cooked.
  6. Stir in the parmesan cheese before serving.

Notes

  • For a thicker soup, use less chicken broth.
  • Garnish with additional parmesan cheese if desired.
