Ingredients

  • 8 ounces fettuccine
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 ounces cremini mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons truffle oil
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion and garlic; sauté until translucent.
  3. Add mushrooms, salt, and pepper. Cook until mushrooms are tender.
  4. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Cook until the sauce thickens.
  5. Add cooked fettuccine to the sauce; toss to coat.
  6. Remove from heat and drizzle with truffle oil. Garnish with parsley before serving.
