A delicious and easy recipe for Cowboy Casserole using turkey bacon and chicken ham, perfect for a hearty meal.

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 6 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables
  • 4 cups tater tots
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook turkey bacon in a skillet until crispy, then crumble.
  3. In a large bowl, mix ground turkey, crumbled bacon, cream of mushroom soup, and milk.
  4. Fold in frozen vegetables and half of the cheese.
  5. Spread the mixture in a baking dish and top with tater tots.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes, then remove from oven and sprinkle with remaining cheese.
  7. Return to oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until cheese is bubbly.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add some diced onions and garlic to the turkey while cooking.
  • This dish is great for meal prep and freezes well.
