Cowboy Casserole: A Hearty and Easy Turkey Bacon Delight

Cowboy Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 6 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 can corn, drained
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 2 cups shredded cheese
  • 1 package tater tots
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground turkey and turkey bacon until browned.
  3. Add corn, diced tomatoes, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish.
  5. Top with shredded cheese and arrange tater tots on top.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes or until the tater tots are golden brown.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add jalapeños or bell peppers.
  • Can be made ahead of time and baked when ready to serve.
