A delicious twist on the classic patty melt featuring turkey bacon and chicken ham for a flavorful experience.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1/2 pound chicken ham
  • 4 slices rye bread
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the turkey bacon in a skillet until crispy and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, sauté the sliced onions until caramelized.
  3. Form the ground beef into patties and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Cook the patties in the skillet until desired doneness.
  5. Assemble the sandwich by placing a patty on a slice of rye bread, topping with turkey bacon, chicken ham, caramelized onions, and Swiss cheese.
  6. Top with another slice of rye bread and butter the outside.
  7. Grill the sandwich in the skillet until golden brown on both sides and the cheese is melted.

Notes

  • For added flavor, mix some Worcestershire sauce into the ground beef.
  • Serve with pickles on the side for extra crunch.
