  • 40 Saltine crackers
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange Saltine crackers in a single layer.
  3. In a saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar over medium heat, stirring until the mixture boils.
  4. Pour the butter mix over the crackers evenly.
  5. Bake for 5 minutes, then remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
  6. Once the chocolate is melted, spread it evenly over the crackers.
  7. Combine granulated sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle over the melted chocolate.
  8. Let cool completely before breaking into pieces.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the chocolate.
  • Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
