Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes

Indulge in the creamy goodness of cheesy scalloped potatoes layered with crispy turkey bacon.

Ingredients

  • 4 large potatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Grease a baking dish with butter.
  3. Slice the potatoes thinly and layer half in the baking dish.
  4. In a saucepan, melt butter, stir in flour, then gradually whisk in milk. Cook until thickened.
  5. Season with salt and pepper, then pour over the potatoes.
  6. Add half of the cheddar cheese and turkey bacon on top.
  7. Layer the remaining potatoes, then the rest of the cheese and bacon.
  8. Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden and bubbly.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add garlic powder to the sauce.
  • Let cool slightly before serving for best results.
