  • 1 pound ziti pasta
  • 1 pound Italian sausage
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 3 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the ziti according to package instructions until al dente.
  3. In a skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned.
  4. In a large bowl, mix the cooked sausage, ricotta cheese, marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder.
  5. Combine the ziti pasta with the sausage mixture and stir well.
  6. Transfer half of the mixture to a baking dish, then layer half of the mozzarella cheese on top.
  7. Add the remaining pasta mixture and top with the rest of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown on top.
