  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a doughnut pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine the apple cider, melted butter, sugar, and eggs.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Fill the doughnut pan with the batter and bake for 12-15 minutes.
  6. For the glaze, whisk together powdered sugar, maple syrup, and milk in a bowl. Dip the cooled doughnuts in the glaze.
  7. Let the glaze set before serving.
